Bearcat2 -> CTD solution? (12/24/2015 1:21:08 PM)

Game was crashing on my WIN10 OS after a few turns, after playing different countries, did not make a difference, game still crashed.
I changed the settings from 1920x1080[screen resolution] to 1680x1050x32x59, turned off features and have not had a crash since. BUT, the game doesn't remember and have to change the default settings[screen resolution]every time I start game.
I suspect[not a techie, but not a novice either] that the video memory[1gb video card] is trying to access system RAM after exceeding its limit which is being used by game[set to 75% MEM]causing conflict [8Gb RAM]when processing turn, because the crashes occurred during that process.

WIN 10
I5 2500k @3.30gh
RAM 8gb 1600
VC GeForce GTX 560 1gb

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

Was just suggesting that lowering the settings might help and the fact that everything changed to default when starting game and had to be changed each start.
Also, it appears I posted too soon, now getting script ctd's.

Dedicated Memory: 973 MB, so yes turning stuff down will help

Svchost.exe_stisvc error Some kind of still image service probably.
Software you installed for something, scanner, digicam.... maybe, or phone that's not working correctly, or is interfering with another process while running.

Windows Defender add game exe to anti virus, and see if that helps

Mp Telemetry means a windows or program error update with a return error code NET Framework or DirectX 9.0 maybe? reinstalling / reparing both or all pre requisite may help that.

AV_nt!RtlpInterlockedPopEntrySList, type 0 Removes an item from the front of a singly linked list. Access to the list is synchronized on a multiprocessor system. this maybe just a throw back from the update to windows 10 with a error in the update.

with 4 out of 10 game related crashes, 6 being other software, background services etc

run game from a admin account and right click on link and run as admin

so turn stuff down will also help

add game to anti virus safe list

reinstall / repair pre requisite NET Framework or DirectX

good luck, have you tried latest beta patch as well? .2 i think it is...

Bearcat2 -> RE: CTD solution? (12/24/2015 6:36:18 PM)

Thanks, but that takes me to something called wetransfer.

Lecivius -> RE: CTD solution? (12/24/2015 6:42:21 PM)

Then that makes me very nervous, as it works for me.

Still, you can navigate to it in the forums following the listed thread

Bearcat2 -> RE: CTD solution? (12/24/2015 7:41:45 PM)

Oh Well, looks like I will have to wait for the official patch; never heard of this site; hate cookie ad tracking.

Lecivius -> RE: CTD solution? (12/24/2015 7:47:47 PM)

It's your call, and I am ALL for security, but "cookie ad tracking" has nothing to do with this.

In any event, good luck!

Pocus -> RE: CTD solution? (1/12/2016 1:19:51 PM)
