Hofstadter -> Campaign Conditions as WA (12/29/2015 9:52:24 AM)

I recently got a minor victory with the EF box off on normal difficulty. In my first win thread I said my line extended from Dusseldorf down south, didnt get further than that.

I am curious as to what difficulty and EF setting do people play with in the 43 campaign, how did you change your style of play from moving difficulties or EF settings. I had a go at Challenging before. But the morale hit for the airforce is just so massive its near impossible to maintain the bombing campaign.

It takes practice. I play on challenging. You just need to pace them more... Having said which, not played to a win yet. Laptop died just before Christmas and waiting for it back ;(

Im still experimenting with the number of bombers required. For 8th 8f as far as I can tell you only need a maximum of four to get 20+ reported damage for a first strike on a target.

Groups you mean? Yes, that is a good raid, although I tend to go for 200 bombers for small to medium targets and 2 or even 3 times that for ones I want damaged NOW! (as opposed to 'i'll be back..' bombing. However more allows for some drop offs, and turnbacks. Oh, and careful with FOW (can be very misleading).

Airfields I find can do with less (but watch for flak).
