I wanted to take this chance to give a public shout-out to my long-time gaming and PBEM buddy Monte. Over more years than I care to remember, we have spent many, many, MANY hours gaming, with just about all types of board games imaginable. Although we no longer are geographically close, we have continued PBEM gaming, and Monte has indulged my fondness for the Pacific War with many games of UV, WITP, and WITP-AE. We are currently 1000+ turns into a DBB-B campaign, with Monte as the Japanese, and I can't imagine it is a lot of fun for him right now (it is mid-Sept 1944, after all); but he continues to play on, giving it has all.
So thank you, Monte; we will see how this one comes out! And then hopefully on to the next!
