Well, obviously you need to have screenshots taken of the same map view to make it work, so in the above image its just three screenshots, all taken at the same zoom range and looking at the same part of the operational map. Then you need to go in to Photoshop and do some trickery. In that instance google is your friend, and I found a page which had helpful screenshots of what menu items to look at. Basically it involves creating layers, and then you have to set each layer to stay on for a particular amount of time, then how often will it loop? (replay). So this was a test, fortunately successful, I must have followed the instructions correctly. I've realised this is a great way of not only showing the progress of a front, but also to show air-combat results. Here's another one I've just created.
