GaryChildress -> Am I seeing this right? (1/3/2016 12:25:29 AM)

I just attacked and drove a recon unit up the main highway in what I thought was a dashing and brilliant move to cut off supplies to the enemy's forces. But when I click on the closest enemy city and trace the supply route I get sort of a weird picture. Shouldn't the green area to the far west (pointer) show closer to being out of supply instead of green (full supply)? Or am I missing something? NOTE: my units are the ones with the NATO symbols.

Have you tried right clicking on one of those suspisious hexes? It should reveal the path the supply takes...

ernie, right clicking one of the "suspicious hexes" will not show you anything because as far as I have seen, you can't trace a supply route from an enemy hex, only your own unit hexes. Those "suspicious hexes" Gary is pointing out are enemy hexes, Gary is NATO unit symbols. I am curious as to the answer also since I often see enemy units cut off on no rail lines or close to them yet they seem to be in supply and show high readiness.

I could be wrong, but I would think the enemy troops are getting supplied by the ocean. The supply path would follow the coast from Tiaret to the sea hex just below Gary's 8th. Not having a port for reentry onto land costs the supply "movement" points a lot, which is why they are only penetrating two hexes in at near to full strength. This would be my guess.

I think I've seen the same in my game, and the enemy was using transport ships to supply the coastal units (just to agree with philo here).
