Hi,

I'm new to this title and having a few questions regarding some of the things I'm observing.
Why is the AI Air Directive making missions from airbases that have no Squadrons attached to it?

From that empty base a Air Superioty missions are made and Recon missions but since there are no squadrons on that location it's pointles while a bit to the East in Martuba Airbase I have Mosquitos for Recon duty and P-40's for air superioty missions buy yet that airbase is not selected for any of the flights the AI AD created how come? What am I missing?

It's using the airfield as a staging base only. The system uses what it believes is the optimum staging base (which must be a friendly airbase). You can always override the staging base in the manual AD setting system.

Staging Base is where the aircraft fly over, to get into combat formation and then continue flying the mission

Click on "S Base" in Air directive" then click on new staging base. Your Staging Base can make a big difference on the number of aircraft that will have the range to fly the mission.
