I have been a long time lurker on this board who now needs help. My opponent and I are starting a campaign game, PBEM DaBigBabes scenario #28. House rules include no hunting of the American carriers on the first move and only one suprise carrier attack on the first move. I entrusted Nagumo with the Kido Butai (5 CVs) to attack Pearl Harbor. Kaga has gone south. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day Time Surface Combat, near Midway Island at 154,102, Range 26,000 Yards Japanese Ships CV Hiryu CV Soryu CV Shokaku CV Zuikaku CV Akagi BB Hiei BB Kirishima CA Tone CA Chikuma CL Abukuma DD Akigumo DD Isokaze DD Urakaze DD Hamakaze DD Tanikaze DD Arare Allied Ships CV Lexington CA Portland CA Chicago CA Astoria DD Mahan DD Drayton DD Lamson DD Flusser DD Porter Maximum visibility in Clear Conditions: 30,000 yards CONTACT: Allied lookouts spot Japanese task force at 22,000 yards Allied TF attempts to evade combat Range increases to 24,000 yards... Has this ever happened to anyone before? Now I would like your opinions. Could we get out of this war? I wonder what terms we could get? We only attacked Wake Island and the Philippines. Could we say it was a mistake what with our thick glasses and all? Is there key that starts a courts-martial? Should Admiral Nagumo be shot? What advice would you give? Feel free, my opponent only checks his email in October after the fishing season.
