Vonlutt -> Game Crashes on AI turn (1/26/2016 3:22:59 AM)

Playing as the Germans I cannot get past a CTD on my first play through. Is early October, and every time I hit end turn it CTDs as soon as the AI turn begins, just says that Barbarossa.exe has stopped working and puts me to the desktop. Won't let me post links/screenshot for another week or something, deleted my entire post, twice, heh.

I tried restarting the game, restarted my computer, and even changed my moves around a bit but no dice.

Attached is the save.

Thanks

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8)
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.

please make sure you are running the latest game version and have up to date drivers installed on your pc,

If you have the original version. So you'll need to update it from the Internet.
Please note that you'll only need the last update, as the updates are comprehensive.

Forum keeps thinking I am trying to post links, deleting my posts. Very annoying.

Any way- The game ran fine for roughly 18 hours of gameplay, I can't imagine a hardware issue randomly decided to pop up and make an obstacle here, which is why I attached the save game for you guys to take a look at/replicate any issues.

Game was downloaded, fully installed and overwrote anything it asked to do and was immediately updated to 1.02g. Firewall isn't utilized for this, Admin makes no difference, drivers are fine.

Attached is the dxdiag, WER3-7 appear to describe the issue(IndexOutOfRangeException).

Hi Vanlutt,

Thanks for sharing that save-file and reporting this.

It is indeed a bug. A rather rare one. But a bug none-the-less.

I've uploaded a private beta patch v1.02 M. Note the 'M'.

You can download it over here:
http://www.vrdesigns.nl/privatepatch/Barbarossa_Public_Beta_Patch_102m.zip

Just rename your current Barbarossa.exe to Babarossa_backup.exe and put the Barbarossa.exe in the zip in its old place.

Let me know if this solves the issue for you.

My apologies for the inconvenience.

Best wishes,
Vic

I think I have this bug. Is there a way to get this patch.

ernieschwitz -> RE: Game Crashes on AI turn (12/29/2019 2:49:22 PM)

The most current patch is 1.05, and should be available to download. It should include the patch referred to here.
