Dannyp19 -> [LIKELY FIXED v1.11] Everything slows down and then an error message (2/11/2016 6:38:20 PM)

Attached is a save game and screen shot. Everything goes OK but then a real bad slowdown occurs and the error message appears.

Ive tried different pulse modes, getting rid of range ring clutter, etc. but nothing seems to stop the bottle neck.

I do realize this is a pretty big scen. but it hasnt ever given me an error message before.

Im using Build 775.6, also updated scen. to latest DB.

Thank you.

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8 )
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

a report may help the developers as well thanks

Driver Date/Size: 8/25/2015

drivers a few builds out of date, but nothing to worry too much about and not game related, but as you run twin cards and 2 monitors, i'd always use the latest and imo the best ones regarding bug fixes etc

6/19/2012

Realtek Digital Output sound chip drivers are old

but no error logs so no program or game errors logged, so it's all ok hardware and software wise, or so your report says anyway.

so now to any game related slow downs, for me run as admin from a admin account, and make sure you AV program doesn't scan when the game is on, same as defrag etc, easy to test this, ctr alt del when in game and look at processor running and see how many, 20 to 30 is a lot, higher and you have far too many background processors running at once / start up.

cpu, memory and vga all above average so no worries there, good luck

Just ran in our newest beta and the crash didn't occur.

We have some new error checking and there is a mission called Japanese Ferry that could be causing the issue. Try deleting it and see if it continues to crash.

Regardless it should be fixed in 1.11.

Mike

Could you also rebuild the scenario to the latest db. There is a string on this in the forum.

Thanks!

Mike

I'm not able to reproduce this in v1.11 [8D]
