Don't know why you bothered to send those tank bdes into the space, they had no chance.

Chaos is correct, break the 63/X hex, pull those three units back into your lines, and get your cavalry-mechanized forces out of that area and over to the west. You're losing men you can't afford with these soak offs and fighting over useless ground. Time's a wastin... you need to be attacking west of Tambov/Voronezh. Force him to back out of his easternmost positions so you can at least start the process of recovering manpower centers.

they were weak and I did not want any routs to go the wrong direction. Whole things a mess now.

the 63 hex has a 2.7 fort and d cv value around 245

the other has a 1.7 fort and d value of 280 ish

I would like to clean up and regroup.

I do a little recon at Penza and this is the area as we stand. Now I need to figure out how to win one hex.

the cv values shifted

the 80x has fort 1.7 and the middle a fort of 2.7.

I guess the middle wins and shall be the point of war.

Silly has been leaving open many of the hexes he counterattacks.

I am using the extra space to get more tanks into battles.

For some reason the I corp HQ was stationed in this hex which I attacked as the rivers are now frozen.

Say bye bye Model!

I squeeze in units and have now cut off the 3rd German mountain division. No mountains here boys[:)]

I ran into a rough hex with 2 Rum and 1 German division. Just further south is 2 germans panzer divisions. They cannot be budged.

So I do this attack which caused 2 HQ's to rout.

I had moved a tank corp past this German hex before the battle so that the retreat went east and not south. This also caused a HQ rout.

that makes 3.
