Is the Jump Map supposed to persist? Intuitively, one would think that it should. There is plenty of space for it within the window even.

When I open it, I click on the small map to go to the section I want, but the Jump Map small window immediately closes, which means I have to keep opening it. Very user-unfriendly.

Also, it's very bizarre, but while I'm in the forum editing this message, I use my arrow keys and the map in the background scrolls - so apparently it doesn't see what window has 'focus'. Could be a problem for people multitasking (for example, in chat rooms).

In case it's relevant, I'm on Windows 10.

--Just wanted to say that I know it's a pain to get flooded with all sorts of bug reports, but I've been in your position. I'd rather hear about this kind of thing than to be unaware.

On another thread Peter said it goes away after you use it.

That should be 'fixed'. May not be a bug in the technical definition, but it makes this feature very difficult to use.

Hi,

I agree with you. I asked about the issue in another thread, .. to which Peter replied that it was designed that way.

Due to an issue with 2560x1440, I have to run at 1920x1080 in a window, .. which doesn't allow scrolling via the mouse.

Having the Jump Map persistent on the screen, .. would certainly help with getting around the map. [:)]

Hope he considers it .. [:)]

Cheers
Tom

I Agree.
