I've noticed that all units that become OOC are marked as FIRE at the same time. Always.

Is this normal?

That's because they are Out of Contact, and cannot be controlled. The Fire marker just means they are considered by the game to have already fired and can't fire again.

Yes, I understand that. I just thing it's superfluous. And it completely obstructs the unit's art.
