Be careful with the latest drivers from Nvidia. They will mess up your computer.
I have to work on mine after work from yesterdays mess. Looks like they are working on getting it fixed.

DaBoost -> RE: Latest Nvidia Drivers (3/8/2016 8:50:30 PM)

I wonder if that's why my computer is acting up. I really hope they fix it soon. Thanks for the heads up.

I think You are referring to beta 364.47. But it seems this was fixed with beta 364.51:

Still it's only with beta drivers. The last WHQL 362.00 don't seem to have any issues.

I'm tired of NVDIA updating drivers...I've stopped taking their updates.

Be careful when going backwards from 364.47 to 362. I had to some changes to adjust my system and for some apparent reason my screen went to black and white. I ended up having to use Guru3D to completely remove the drivers and registry entries and reinstall 362 to fix my issue. At least I finally learnt how to get into windows 10 safemode.

It was installed with their auto installer, been using it for the last year and half since I bought the new gaming computer and never had a problem with any installs from them.
Sad thing is I went to to buy Tiger on the Hunt when the Gforce installer popped up and said there were new drivers, so I did that first and the rest is non PC working history.
Did not get to work on my PC yesterday as we had a super nice day touching 70 degrees here in Ohio and the wife and I went outdoors for a 5 mile walk. So hope to get back at it tonight and try and figure out how to fix the dang thing and buy the game.

Under the GeForce experience you can opt out of beta drivers. Which is off by default. At some point you would have to go have gone in there and checked the box.

Otherwise the program only downloads ready drivers.
You can also turn off auto download and install. You can have it notify you when a new driver is ready.

I have opted out of the beta program and I don't let it install drivers until I tell it that it can.

I have never had an issue.
My friends with ATI cards of the other hands....[X(]

Thanks for the info, all I know is that for the last year and half no problems with the Gforce Experience and have never had a problem. Guess I must have missed the Beta part or something, it always just says there are new drivers and wants to know if I want to update. It will tell you what it improves and always worked before, but lesson learned the hard way this time. At lunch I am dropping my PC off to get fixed and that will no longer be on it.
Just checked and the Nividia forum new driver thread is up to 45 pages of people like me with the same problem. Like I said lesson learned.[:@]

That's why I been with ATI RAEDON for 8 years now. I used to go Nvida but always had blue screens of death and driver issues. Not a one with ATI RAEDON. Amazing card by PowerColor. I use to have PONY Nvidia cards and they were crapped out within a year or two.

Hotschi -> RE: Latest Nvidia Drivers (3/10/2016 10:13:00 PM)

NVidia here too. I simply never update the graphic drivers - no changes, no issues - works best for me. I am going with the old saying, "never change a running system".

VPaulus -> RE: Latest Nvidia Drivers (3/10/2016 10:23:01 PM)

A couple months ago it was with ATI....
I only update with WHQL drivers.

Dorb -> RE: Latest Nvidia Drivers (3/11/2016 1:15:11 AM)

$20 later I'm all fixed up and back in action. Lesson learned & good bye GForce Experience. Now time to go grab Tigers on the Hunt. [:)]

Rosseau -> RE: Latest Nvidia Drivers (3/11/2016 1:28:15 AM)

I'm sure you will enjoy TotH.

After 59 years, I think I've finally learned, if it ain't broke... [;)]
