Primarchx -> Great Leaps 1.11 AGL (3/10/2016 3:30:48 PM)

A link hasn't been posted here but there is another article on WarfareSims website about 1.11 put up yesterday:

AGL Settings

HalfLifeExpert -> RE: Great Leaps 1.11 AGL (3/10/2016 10:55:29 PM)

Cool, with the strike mission notifications, I hope that we can configure just those messages to have a pop up as well,

I have my message log in a separate minimized window, so I would like to have that option

Marder -> RE: Great Leaps 1.11 AGL (3/11/2016 8:07:33 AM)

Wow that's a great improvement!

Graf Leinsdorf -> RE: Great Leaps 1.11 AGL (3/11/2016 10:35:48 PM)

I appreciate the great improvements, really a work of love and professional care.
I find especially useful the improved feedback for missions in the message log.

I wonder whether with 1.11 or following some other improvements may be devised, especially in details of feedback after battle.
More often than not the player has troubles in discovering which platform has destroyed or damaged what, getting only the overall losses but not knowing which of his assets has achieved each one. This information doesn't seem to be got entirely through running message logs, where damage suffered is detailed but not the platform which caused it. Would it be possible to add a tag to the losses report with this kind of data? Or include it in lines of the message log?

Yea thats a good one, i thought about this too. Would be another useful addition to a future release patch being able to know what killed what.

Stores jettison has also been added. I added that bit of info on the article as it was not originally included.

Excellent! I see that it's associated to the evasion doctrine. Will there be a hot key to perform the same task manually?

The great leaps of v1.11: AGL altitude settings

Command v1.11 adds an Above Ground Level (AGL) altitude setting, in addition to the existing Above Sea Level (ASL) setting, to enable terrain-following (i.e. ride altitude) for aircraft equipped with terrain-following and terrain-avoidance radar.

Does this mean that not all aircraft have this ability? Terrain following radar is not required to fly NOE in daytime VFR weather conditions. All F-16s for example are able to fly NOE missions in the day. NOE Night VFR flying requires a block 40-42 with LANTIRN or other block F-16s with NVG.

I sense you have like myself been playing Falcon BMS in particular 4.33. I dont have 4.33 yet as theres' been an issue with the new owners of F4 but i know in 4.33 they've implemented the LANTIRN pod with the 40/42's. I've noticed and its been stated that night time flying in 4.33 is darker than 4.32. More realistic and looks better especially with the FLIR on the HUD. Cant wait to get 4.33 hopefully the issue gets resolved.

Yes Sir,

I have tried 4.33 but unfortunately I need a hardware upgrade to fully enjoy it.[:(] On a side note I also used to be a crew chief on F-16C Blk 42s and Blk 50s.[:)]

Yea i need to get a better GFX card, thinking a GTX 960 and probably a 1000W PSU for when/if i get 4.33. Sounds like you've had an exciting life doing that job, what does being a crew chief involve doing, overseeing maintenance and loadouts on the F-16s?
