I've asked this in another forum, so apologies for the duplication. Is it possible to set the AI to play against itsel? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking of using this for resolving battles in my own strategic PBEM CAMPAIGN. I am the moderator, with up to 8 players submitting simultaneous moves to me to resolve. Thanks

Yes.

Great, thank you

Bear in mind though, the Ai is not particularly good in many situations, and cannot be made to "defend". ( all your battles AI vs AI will be "meeting engagements") It might be difficult to convert your "strategic" strength of a players army to what actually happens on a battlefield AI vs AI.
Good luck!

Apologies for the delay in replying.
Thanks for advising. That shouldn't be too much of a problem as I'm not aiming at the players having tactical control, with certain exceptions perhaps.
As far as the strategic strength of the armies, I figure I'd work backwards and use the FoG lists and points to build from, in a somewhat modified form. Haven't completely worked that out yet, but the idea seems solid.
