kojis -> New website for database viewer and compare (3/26/2016 9:22:21 PM)

I am CMANO database addict, have couple of non windows machines and phone where database browsing was big no-no.

So, i made new website where you can browse CMANO database and compare aircrafts, ships, submarines and facilities against each other, website should be mobile friendly, so database surffing can continue without interruption [:)]. You can also share direct links to your compared items.

Website can be found at: cmano-db.com/, explore and write some feedback.

That's really nice

Kojis - Thanks ...... Very good!

The ability to quickly see weapon and sensor ranges on a map will be a great help when working on scenarios.

Also like the ability to share a compare url:

Added the site to my CMANO bookmarks http://www.cmano-db.com/

Cool Kojis,

Any chance you'll add sensors, mounts(with acceptable fcr, illuminators), and weapons?[;)]

HalfLifeExpert -> RE: New website for database viewer and compare (3/28/2016 7:48:50 PM)

This is pretty cool, is it just DB3000?

Would also be kind of nice to have the same thing for CWDB

BrianinMinnie -> RE: New website for database viewer and compare (3/28/2016 8:19:54 PM)

DavidRob0 -> RE: New website for database viewer and compare (4/6/2016 2:30:49 AM)

Ditto on all of the above praise. That's a great job. And a great contribution to the game.
Thank you very much for all your efforts.

ColonelMolerat -> RE: New website for database viewer and compare (4/6/2016 3:29:26 PM)

Damn, this is a nice site! Well done!

The only minor 'problem' I've discovered is that in the 'general' unit description (the bit that's an extract from Wikipedia, or Jane's or whatever), the box scrolls awkwardly for long lines of text. Perhaps making the box bigger, or making the text wrap to the next line would solve this?

An example is here:
http://cmano-db.com/submarine/299/
I'm talking about that box on the bottom right starting "OVERVIEW: The PORPOISE is a diesel-powered patrol submarine (SSK)..."

But that's a minor quibble on such a slick site. I particularly like the type/country/item filter and the range display on the map!

I will look for this, maybe CSS problem.
