Has anyone seen or heard about this game? This article is on the wargamer website and maybe some of you know a little bit more than I.

walls seem to be able to be used for cover

bad placement of MG mind you, do many blind spots and not really good cover

terrain and map sizes mind you look really good

Looks and sounds promising I must say.

CGGrognard -> RE: The Tactical Art of Combat - Game (4/5/2016 10:32:24 PM)

This does look promising and by the screen shots and TACKOMs' site info, it may be a good competitor to the CC series.

Look interesting, like to see this in John's Tiller Games.

They have had a forum up for a while, the devs have all posted. http://www.tacticalartofcombat.com/ARTCOM/index.php

The site and game are managed by Sulla (Shaun Wallace) who has posted here many times over the years.

I'm watching and lurking at the site hoping they can land this project [sm=Tank-fahr09.gif]

It sure looks very promising. I will keep a close look at its progress.

This looks great. Best elements of CM2x and Close Combat of old - just not sure why they would go against a fully 3D camera?

Close combat was great but really hasn't evolved in many ways. To be honest a solid AI is the most important thing to me to create a real feeling that the game is somewhat a realistic simulation.
