The US battleships remain on station.

Will the Italian ships remain as well?

El Duce Supremo regretfully informs the Allied genaralissimo he no longer wishes to participate in this minor dispute over the fishing rights in the West Med.

El Duce's mighty navy can proudly return to La Spezia (or Genoa if the TRANS and INF won't fit) having accomplished their glorious mission to return the brave sons of Italy from the CCNN corps to the motherland.

Regards EDS.

The Allied High Command is so informed.

Too which port, or ports, will the Italians fishing boats and trawlers return to?

The Italian fleet returns to La Spezia.

The two US cruisers return to Port Said.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:17:51 PM)

Allies decline to search in the remaining sea areas.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:21:01 PM)

Germany can search in BoB.

Yes please, use the Bf-110 or if not available, the Fw-190, thanks.

AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:25:13 PM)

Initiate also in CSV, thanks. I think there's only 1 unit that can.

Mayhemizer_slith -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:29:24 PM)

Good night. Good hunting for Axis.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:31:51 PM)

Neither side finds in BoB. (10 and 8 rolled)

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:33:43 PM)

Will Axis add any air to CSV?

AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 8:55:51 PM)

The Italians decide to preserve the fighting capacity of their maritime aviation for another battle and return the NAV to base (Cadiz).

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 9:00:28 PM)

Italy rolls 19 and destroys the British fighter.

I changed the result to a two so that the pilot survives. I think that CW had 4BPs remaining to be compensated. If so, then 2 BPs remain. I'll check this tomorrow.

Cadiz looks good, thanks.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/2/2017 9:12:12 PM)

And that is the end of the naval actions and the action of this evening.

I bid you all a good night.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (3/3/2017 4:38:16 PM)

The Whitley bomber in Northern Spain bombs Madrid for no effect.

That one put an end to the extremely good run Allies had with Strategic Bombing.

USSR makes three rail moves:
Minsk MIL - Minsk to Tabriz
Sevastopol MIL - Sevastopol to Tabriz
Saratov MIL - Saratov to Chisinau

x-x-x-x-x

China cautiously advances after the retreating Japanese forces. While doing so they liberate three Chinese cities.

China also advance into Northern Indo-China.

Jan/Feb 1942
Impulse: 3 (Allied)

Land Movement (Cont)

Soviet Union
Really not much to report on the Eastern Front. Stalin refuses to allow his troops to retreat east of the old frontier so there are just some detail movements.

In Manchuria, the dastardly plan to knock out a large part of the Manchurian garrison was thwarted by some suspect dice. 6th Army (has this army covered the most distance in the game so far?) moves southeast to try and cut the links between Changchun and Mukden, supported by the Mongolian Cavalry, who guard the west bank of the Xar Moron river - and 6th Army's left flank.

Chinese Communists

Half of Mao's forces push east to keep the pressure on Terauchi, while the other half attempt to clear up the hinterland - or at least hope to if the weather turns nice.

Debark

USA
USA debark the MOT to Plymouth

Land Combat
None

Rebase

France
France land their heavy bomber in Spanish Sahara

China
A P-36A rebases forward southwest of Changsha

Commonwealth
A Lancaster unit rebases to Algeria

USA
An A-22 bomber rebases to Plymouth
A carrier air unit lands on Enterprise in San Diego
A Catalina in South Africa rebases to Aden
A carrier air on USS Wasp rebases to USS Yorktown

Air Reorganisation

USSR
6th Army are re-supplied from the air by the Soviet air force (eat that Goering!).

Reorganisation

USSR
Koniev reorganises the 1st Siberian Army and the 4th Guards Mechanised, together with one unit from the 3rd Bomber Aviation Regiment.
