Suvorov said: When you have pushed back the enemy - you have failed. When the enemy is SUrrounded and scattered-you have succeded. We seem to be doing a lot of failing this game:)

Greeks failed in the south this time since they pushed back quite a lot of Yugoslavians and took 1/4 VH's there.:)

Greeks advanced a little bit in the northern flank also, but few AT & AA guns are causing a lot of problems to me :mad:

AngryDeemon1 -> (4/23/2003 9:39:31 AM)

No turn again... I am sorry about this I do not know what is going on... Vikings and Willys turns get here always....

sandman20 -> (4/23/2003 12:35:41 PM)

Strange things...:confused:

Check your box now, I sent it twice...:(

sandman20 -> (4/24/2003 1:52:02 AM)

I lost some mens in the south but I killed some in the north, that's all this time.

Back to you AD.

AngryDeemon1 -> (4/24/2003 7:00:11 PM)

Hmm I think I made some bad purchasing descisions.. why i bought those 85mm guns - i dont know.

sandman20 -> (4/25/2003 1:10:53 PM)

Yes, heavy AA guns are quite useless in that case, though they causes some supression when shooting.:rolleyes:

Yugoslavian 40mm Bofors AA-gun eliminated in the south as well as some mens.

Greeks are still advancing slowly in the north also, couple of infantry squads pushed back and 65mm infantry gun lost few mens.

AngryDeemon1 -> (4/30/2003 11:41:16 PM)

Semi mobile (Donkey powered) reserves are frantically repositioned. My 40mm positions are still holding strong, but I am running low on Infantry. Greek Bren Carriers and MC squads are hard to stop. Cursing my decision to buy thos 85mm AAA and ammo boxes for them... thats a company's worth of infantry.

Its turn 14 of 28 on next Tuesday I am leaving thecounty. We can finish the game if we manage turns a day.

sandman20 -> (5/1/2003 11:36:55 PM)

More of the same, Greeks are advancing slowly in the north and south, men casualties to both sides.
Those 40mm's are indeed my biggest problem, you have a lot of them and I can't spot them all:mad:

I hope we have enough time to play this over before you leave the country.:)

AngryDeemon1 -> (5/3/2003 9:39:31 AM)

Turn in tommorow... To beat trying to run down my doctoral committee to do a turn today..

AngryDeemon1 -> (5/4/2003 8:12:55 PM)

Hmm the Yugoslavian Offensive is Winding down. Out of OB artillery and with over half the mortar park broken and most squads redued to 3-4 men they canonly wait for thegreek attack and try to hold the last VH.

sandman20 -> (5/4/2003 10:21:41 PM)

More Yugoslavians killed, including 65mm infantry gun and 40mm AA gun.

BTW AD, what are you going to do with those FT-17's you have behind that village in the middle?
They have just stand there few turns, are they too supressed to move anywhere?:rolleyes:

AngryDeemon1 -> (5/4/2003 11:05:57 PM)

They are too useless to do anything with without some infantry support to go with them.

AngryDeemon1 -> (5/5/2003 10:16:22 AM)

Silly ft-17 tanks cant climb on the platou by the village for some reason... guess its all of the shell holes there. I loose a inf squad, you loose a mg.

sandman20 -> (5/5/2003 2:58:36 PM)

Greeks took 1/4 of the northern VH's. It really seems like there are not any infantry left, only FT-17's, few different guns and some mule packs.
Now most part of them are pinned and one 37mm AT gun with mule pack have been killed.

Not much in the southern sector, both sides lose couple of mens and I got finally that one lonely sniper. :)

AngryDeemon1 -> (5/6/2003 10:00:01 PM)

Next turn in August, or if I can get SPWAW set up in Moscow then:) i think I can turn this game around, the Yugoslav Soldiers are with me:)

sandman20 -> (5/6/2003 10:46:05 PM)

That's fine.:)
We can continue this whenever you want.
Have a nice summer in Russia;)
