I don't know if this is specific to the RC 1.11 builds or not but I'm seeing my ASW planes plotting courses to investigate subsurface contacts if the area of uncertainty overlaps land. In the attached pics you can see my planes plotting a course to fly over Greenland :D

Okay [8D] Are you using prosecution areas?

No, just ASW patrol zones but I will utilize prosecution areas too. For ASW won't the patrol and prosecution areas just overlap anyway?

They wouldn't unless you build them that way. If you don't want the planes to over fly land, put the patrol zone there or the prosecution zone there. I would think the prosecution zone would be better. I am pretty sure its been this way since day 1. I have always looked at it as a concession to uncertainty zone and not a big deal.

No nav zones might also be able to be used, but there might be issues with those depending what is going on i the scenario. I am also sure you could do a Lua script that would make it work as well.

We've got an existing issue that is hopefully still open on this. The game doesn't account for land when drawing them.

You can overcome this with patrol missions with prosecution zones.

You have set the 'Investigate contact outside patrol area' and not selected a prosecution area. That's the problem [8D]

I'm marking this one MEGA-WAD [:D]
