fuselex -> slitherine/matrix response to a lost order (4/18/2016 12:02:20 PM)

ordered 2 games from Slith/matrix , waited roughly 2 weeks past the expected delivery date before emailing
customer support .
Around a 3-4 hour response from customer service. Games will be reshipped .

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Have bought from them before and will continue to :)

Thank You

Yeah, I got a refund from them (highly unlikely at most other places except steam now) Game wouldn't run on my machine whatever we tried so finally they gave me a refund which I promptly spent on another game. [:'(]

Now, if they would just refund Pandora for me. [:'(] Just didn't like it at all. Played about 18 minutes and that was enough to convince me I didn't like it. But, I really don't expect a refund for a game I didn't like except on Steam now as they give you 2 hours to decide if you like a game or not. I'm starting to buy more games on Steam now with that kind of policy. I bought Universalis IV like 3 times trying to get the font to a larger size that everyone kept telling me you could but couldn't. Not the font I wanted increased anyways. Steam refunded it 3 times and I was very surprised at that. CKII lets you set the resolution of the game down to 1024x728 and I can see that ok for now.

Good customer service is hard to find these days anywhere though. Clerks run the opposite direction from you if you approach them in most places. When I worked retail long time ago I ran toward the customer. Hell, waiting on people was a lot easier than stocking shelves and hauling boxes from trucks in the warehouse in the summer. Don't understand why they do this running away today.

Do your research before you buy any game...you only have yourself to blame...[8|]

I'm not saying he should get a refund, but it's not fair to criticise someone for this. To be honest I bet that we've all bought some lemons in the past and it is very frustrating. Not helped by the fact that demos seem to be a thing of the past.

I bought AI war and glad I only spent three dollars on it

Actually, I have no problem with the way Matrix handles re-downloads. When I switched to a Win10 machine, all was good.

The beauty of Steam is that all the games do work on your system - or you get a refund. Even before the refund, never had a Steam game not work, and I do have a lot of $5 indie games there, too.

Only time I got burned was with GameStop. Remember Impulse where the original Stardock stuff was sold? Well, GameStop just moved on and my account with them got left behind. One day I will get someone on the phone, but not worth it atm.

I've been nothing but pleased when dealing with customer support at Matrix the couple times I've needed it. Always top notch. I'd think most others would agree.
