Major SNAFU_M -> A couple of pre-purchase questions (5/9/2016 6:24:11 PM)

Having played the demo, I was amazed at how addictive this was even for a "light" game.

I don't normally look for light games, command ops and command ops 2 JTCS, toaw, with-are, command, etc are usually more to my interests. But I was looking for some thing a bit easier to introduce my son (14) to and not so 'dry'.

I also travel a grett deal and the idea of being able to play the same game on the iPad and my home pic really appeals.

My questions are:

The mega campaign is all of the individual campaign sets bundled into one package, correct? They are not separate things? [ANSWERED]

How is the replay ability of individual scenarios? Is there any randomization of the placement of AI units? The demo seems pretty easy and seems like the same thing each time if I replay the scenario. Is that true of the full game and the as well?

My question is that if you re-played the same campaign and made the same choices, and moves, would you experience the same results as outcome?

Hi Major

I have had this game since it first game out and purchased every DLC pack for the years 1939-45. I also have Soviet Korps, Afrika Korps, Allied Corps and tried a bunch of the mods. I love this game and I do replay scenarios. The thing I like about this game is the ability to keep units from battle to battle. For me, I feel an attachment to the units. I love buying Tiger II's They are big and kill everything except in urban environments. Great game for a young person to play and they do have sales on this game.

I will buy every advancement of this game, I also have a load of wargames and this is the one I play the most

The AI plays the same every time however, the mega campaign has over 150 scenarios so there is a lot to go thru. That campaign does not include Afrika Corp, Allied Corps or the Soviet Corps expansions not to mention all the mods. So lots to conquer there.

I am currently playing through GTPG campaign which is a tribute to the original PG campaign designer back in the day. The neat thing about this mod is that there are two types of camo skins for the German units so you can have visually, three distinctly different looking battle groups on the map.

So unless you play a lot every day this game can take up some weeks of your time.
