Hi rustyi - see my sig line for an explanation. It's only a temporary thing - the Grand Old Lady will be back in her rightful place soon [:)]

I am on the other side of the fence. I never progressed past 1st January, 1942. The restarts are just too good. Still learning tons about the game in my sixth year of WITP:AE gaming.

Yaab, ya gotta get past this man. There's just sooooo much more game out there, 'cmon.[:D]

Yes you're quitting prematurely. How does SO feel about that? [:'(]

I am sure your doctor can help you with the premature finish issue ... you might want to look up Mandrake - he'll understand WTH "AE" is .

I think perfection with AE is impossible. You may continue to improve yes, but the most important thing is "SURVIVAL". Surviving the first 6 months, your CV'S surviving long enough for the Essex class to start showing up. Surviving in CBI. Surviving in the South Pacific. Surviving long enough to fight back. Perfection is not required, just SKILL. And skills improve with time faster than perfection....GP

True. In my case I think I'm going backward.
