Any board game for mobile devices? I have searched app markets and I am looking for games similar to dungeons and dragons, snake and ladders or game of dice. I just enjoyed playing board games and it's easier to play them in digital version due to it's automatic score counting than the traditional setup.

There are number of games based on HeroQuest, Space Crusade, and Space Hulk. First of them were made for MS-DOS, but there are newer, if unofficial ones too. Matrix Games' Legions of Steel looks like variation of those games. Matrix/Slitherine has also released more straightforward adaptations of board games, like Conflict of Heroes series. MegaMek is faithful and accurate computerized version of BattleTech wargame. Many years I enjoyed of it. Better have BattleTech rule book at hand though. Newest basic BattleTech rule book is Total Warfare. Others will tell you about other games.

Aw man! Somehow I missed/forgot that! Anyway MegaMek works just fine on Win8.1 tablet, though keyboard (USB or otherwise) could come in handy. Becouse game has been coded with Java, it should run on any device that has Java virtual machine. But as you probably know about Java: code once, debug everywhere.

If you are looking games for particular mobile OS, you need to tell about it first. Otherwise for Matrix & Slitherine games, Windows machines are the way to go.

There are digital versions of many popular newer board games and older ones. Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Monopoly, etc. just go looking in the app store and you will find them.

If you ever had an interest in Magic: The Gathering, you could try Hearthstone. It's a digital collectible card game where you don't have to spend any money if you don't want to.

Thanks for the suggestions. Already tried Heartstone. I actually had played that pretty long then after coming across the new mobile trading card board game, Game of Dice, it made me shift to it immediately. [:D]

Anyone try that new 40k version of Talisman? (on Android or IOS)

I've been on the fence about buying.

Graphics look good. Not sure about the gameplay.

Nope. Haven't tried it. You could try Game of Dice. Honestly a lot addicting than Hearthstone for me. Been playing it ever since October. [;)]
