Playing this game for the first time and I am now well into the campaign.
My verdict is that is one of the best computer games I have ever played for the following reasons :
1.The immersion factor is very high with many important planning decisions to be made each turn ( and never enough action points ! )
2.The AI is excellent. Currently giving me a military lesson.
3.The introductory tutorials are outstanding. Comprehensive and easy to follow.
4.The map is lovely. A work of art.
5.The counter design is very good. Clear,instructive and attractive.
6.The UI is very good. Functional and easy to use.
The game is a classic. As a consequence I definitely plan to fire up the other games in the series after my current game.
