caliJP -> Moscow Defense Zone in Chelyabinsk? (5/17/2016 11:20:16 PM) I am T25 of GC game and the Moscow DZ (the pink one) showed up in Chelyabinsk as opposed to Moscow area in all my previous games. Is that a new thing, is it WAD?

M60A3TTS -> RE: Moscow Defense Zone in Chelyabinsk? (5/17/2016 11:40:32 PM) It's much better out of the way than occupying a hex you may need 3 units in to defend Moscow. I may use it on occasion to assign FZs to but that's about it.

caliJP -> RE: Moscow Defense Zone in Chelyabinsk? (5/17/2016 11:53:13 PM) Actually I kinda like it in Moscow area, that way it can command 2 Armies as in late 1941 there are too many soviet Armies and units and not enough Fronts. One can always relocate it to get it out of the way.

Denniss -> RE: Moscow Defense Zone in Chelyabinsk? (5/26/2016 9:42:25 PM) DZ was a front-type HQ, commanding at least two armies in defense of Moscow. MD was an area command more related to administrative stuff like forming/training new units.
