Is the DL increased when a unit reacts as defensive reserve? It would then perhaps be possible to bomb it to lessen its impact if it reacts again.

Not sure, but don't think so, the "lil darlin's" highlight in red counter border. Massive air attacks don't seem to make much difference, maybe the high morale axis formations "like" to get bombed, because, what is happening is that the new "enhanced" axis flak is shooting down and chasing away the red strike aircraft. 30 -50 Red air groups under 50 morale and many all the way down into the teens and 20's after the debacle. Part of a general offensive in the area, that why so many air groups so damaged, around 700 shoot downs.

I made chasing those pesky reserve-activating attack-spoiling panzer and panzergrenadier divisions a point of honour. Not that I succeed a lot, with them being safely deep behind the front lines.

Zhukov will get the job (Steppe front) 6 loaded tk armies, still might not be enough.
