U2 -> Where to send bug saves? To me from now on (4/11/2003 3:54:30 AM)

From now on please send save files with instructions to:

dpalb02@student.vxu.se

If you don't have a save I'll need good instructions on how to reproduce it

Thanks

Cheers
Dan

Kid is still around but he is now 100% focused on WITP.

"...100% focused on WitP."

Well that's acceptable! The sooner the better!

Gone for three days back on Sunday 25th

Please send any files you have directly to me before I get back. Don't want you to think I'm ignoring you on the forum;)

Sorry to say but this thread is dead and U2 is no longer working on bugs.

I think Mr. Frag, but I'm not sure. I know he is on WitP.

Well, if no new bugs are gonna be fix in UV (i.e. no other patch whatsoever), it's a bit of a rethoric question now, isn't it ?

I was asking because I have several instance of PBEM turns where the Combat Replay all go wrong if:
1 - Combat animation are ON
2 - Some LB are on Naval Attack, 100 feet altitude and are strafing enemy ship

As soon as the Combat replay reach their points, and the animation show up, the game shows rubbish (i.e. bombardement that didn't exist in the game, sub attack that didn't exist in the game, etc...) and the Combat Report generated is completely different from the one of the other player...

It seems fairly reproducable.

So if anyone is interested, let me know...

There is a patch coming to fix the bugs inserted in the 2.40 patch. The combat replay sync problem was never fully fixed in UV.

toraq -> RE: Where to send bug saves? To me from now on (2/22/2005 5:30:24 PM)

What about these bugs

1- Aircraft not damaging the airport when there is a own land unit in the hex. Example: Japanese bombers do not damage PMīs airport if there are japanese LCUs there. So once you have started to invade PM, there is no hope of closing the airport until you take the base!!! This is annoying!

This bug doesnīt exist in WitP...it wonīt be difficult to fix (me thinks)[8|]

2 - Most of the times, Land based bombers (specially japanese ones) do not attack TF with CAP (mainly CVs TF), even if they have plenty of escorts. In WitP, this is not happening so often...

This has also been fixed in WitP...so same as above[8|]

4- IJN AAA ammo being zeroed in UV ver 2.3 Scen.17, in attacks at 100 feet

There are also some little bugs that I wonīt mention because I think are minor ones. But these ones are more important and maybe it is still possible to fix them. Everyone is quite annoying.
Thanks

I can see a "now or never" situation here, and I would prefer the "now" solution, even if I have to wait for another month [&o] (which wouldn't be "now" in a sense, but still better than "never" ! [:D]).

Hello folks.

A new bug patch is scheduled to be released for UV. What we need from you are the most critical bugs currently impacting the game and saves which MikeW can examine to root them out.

Please email these these bugs, what they are, how to reproduce them and saves for these bugs (preferably the turn before) to me at: lansoar@hotmail.com

Please be as concise as possible. (i.e. state the what the bug is and a list of steps on how to produce it with the save.

Thx

-Nik
