Shogouki -> Game is beginning to crash right after initilization just before launching (6/1/2016 9:37:03 PM)

Just in the last few days the game has started to crash right before it launches. I've looked at the Windows Event Viewer to find two seemingly related errors just a second apart from each other with the following info:

And my DxDiag info is attached as well.

rjord2021 -> RE: Game is beginning to crash right after initilization just before launching (6/1/2016 9:45:13 PM)

in steam right click on distant worlds go to properties and then local files.

Verify the integrity of the game cache.

This will check if your file is corrupted.

Shogouki -> RE: Game is beginning to crash right after initilization just before launching (6/2/2016 12:06:46 AM)

Did that a few times already, none of them found any corruption.
