SilentHunter -> Add aircraft type to air ops status window (6/2/2016 11:33:42 PM)

Any chance or any interest in adding the aircraft type to the status window when click on an air base? I was playing a couple scenarios I'd not played before and found that I had to click the link to get to the aircraft details to find out the type of aircraft I had at the base when all i really wanted was aircraft type. Just throwing it out there as an idea/suggestion to see if there's any interest.

Have you tried to drag-select all units on the map and then hit the F6 (Air Ops) hotkey?

It lists all units with aircraft on them along with the aircraft themselves.

Will this solve the problem?

emsoy no that brings me to the same place as when I click on air ops for the airport. Here's and example of what I mean, when the aircraft list is long you may not know which are fighters or ASW and so on. Adding a column for type, would help so I don't have to click through each link to find out the type of aircraft if I'm looking for a specific type for a role/mission. I've played a lot of early era stuff since this game came out and I'll admit there are some aircraft I'm unfamiliar with their role/type. Wondered if there was any interest by anyone else for this info, if not obviously it's a dead request.

Ah okay I see... hmmm would clutter the screen quite a bit, and also the role can vary with loadout for a lot of aircraft.

thanks for the reply there does not seem to be much interest anyway, clicking the link to get to the details page to see the type is acceptable, the more modern campaigns I play I'm sure recognizing them will get easier. I remember a time early on when getting to information was much harder and lot has been done to make it more accessible.
