We are hoping to get this out over the weekend once Rob nails a fix for a bug that may be the cause of some of the excessive command delays some folks have been seeing and has until the other day when Charles ran across a situation that caused a similar effect. After that we are all looking forward to Origins in less than two weeks. [X(]

The orders delay bug took more time to dig out then we thought and we have a couple other items that need addressed. We are trying to get 11.6 out by the end of the week or it will have to wait for after Origins.

Slow. [:(] Rob has been stuck working late in his day job this week and that has limited the take down of a couple nasty bugs we want squashed (UI related and brand new to us) before dropping 11.6 on the world. We did manage to fix a couple items in airstrike and AD code that cropped up and a work around for the main splitter bar freak out bug seen recently. Still hoping to get 11.6 out this weekend, but getting things working and done for Origins is now a #1 priority and will be my focus right after this message is posted.

A very slim chance that we may get 11.6 up on the website tonight or tomorrow in the am. Really depends on how much Origins work we have left tonight in our Dev call. [sm=00000028.gif]

I suppose there's little else I can do other than a full reinstall. Looking at the task manager during gameplay, at a certain time in the game the CPU usage spikes heavily and the game slows to a crawl. I'm not noting any extra memory usage, so a memory leak isn't the problem.

EDIT: Verifying the game cache seems to have solved the problem... [:'(]

The balance is also back on foot as well... I think the earlier problems I was reporting regarding tank matchups was due to inconsistency: I kept using a customized 2.0.10 data file well into the betas, and now the battles are making sense again now that the beta data files are in sync with the betas themselves.

11.6 will be a bit better still once we get it out. [X(] We really got bogged down fixing a number of pop up bugs from a controls update.

We are working on a few items that we spotted at Origins and hope to get it out next week if all goes well. We will also be working on AARs from the Con and putting the Origins scenarios and mission info together for a release in a few weeks too.

Back from a long and relaxing holiday weekend where I did not do much game wise (sorry), but We are closing in on the 11.6 build. Rob is working out the kinks in a pathing bug and reviewing a bug sent in dealing with a campaign lockup issue. I will be updating the What's New doc with these and other fixes for this update. There are a couple new info panels in the TOC we brought over from the Origins build too. The target is to get the update out in a week so we can shift gears to full Southern Storm work. [8D]

The long awaited 11.6 Beta update will go up on the OTS website this evening as it was okayed by the team last night. One very noticeable change is the speed of the game. Jeff was able to optimize some code that gets hit all the time and effect is dramatic. Enough so that combat and some other events are moving so fast that they outstrip sound effects at times. We also dropped in the Intel panels in the TOC we did for Origins. Make sure to review the What's New doc for all the changes and fixes. [8D]

Being very new, what are the the requirements to install the new 11.6 Beta? I have Flash Point Campaigns 2.01.bs. Is the beta all inclusive or require previous iterations?
