Getting much rain & wind in St. Pete yet Hans? We're getting ready for it across the state in Jax (my wife is freaking out about it). I'm off tomorrow, so it's game time.

Can't you just get a Colinoscopy?

Zorch -> RE: OT:Tropical Storm Colin (6/6/2016 9:00:12 PM)

They should have named this storm 'Clyde', to go with the recent storm Bonnie.

Been a steady deluge all day. The storm drains are backed up.
A coworker's wife sent the photo below of the road to Pass-A-Grille beach as she went to pick the kids up from school that closed early.
Only a little strong wind so far.

Hey guys,

I am over in Brandon, FL (just east of Tampa Bay) and we have very little rain and no wind to speak of. It actually looks like the sun is trying to come out. Go figure.[&:]

How bad would this be in WitP:AE terms?

NigelKentarus -> RE: OT:Tropical Storm Colin (6/6/2016 11:15:31 PM)

We're getting some good wind gusts and rain off and on. They closed the airport for about an hour due to tornados in the area. Our next big deluge is suppose to between 2300-2400. My backyard is kind of flooded, not any worse than usual so far though.

Having lived in Tampa for a decade it's not really a Tropical Storm until you can kayak on Bayshore Blvd.

wneumann -> RE: OT:Tropical Storm Colin (6/7/2016 3:44:11 AM)

North side of Tampa got off okay. Some rain, a little wind - most of it stayed south of here or didn't get this far inland.
