Easy to use the private message boards there and as you will see, many campaings have easily been run in the forums there (P&S, FOG). I generally think that more people might be tempted to join something like this if they have public acknowlegement others are also interested ( ie via people posting in said forums) Using the forums and the PM boards is a lot easier than email...
