Have moved to a new computer (actually about a year ago) and was going to setup a new install for empires in arms. Had to get a download from slitherine for it, but now when I go to install the thing it reaches the end and stops responding.

Has anyone seen this before? If so, how do I (or can I) get around it?

Not sure, but try running the installer as admin in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode. Also, I think there is a Win8.2 version that fixes issues with 8.1? Sorry, I skipped Win8 going from 7 to 10. EIA does run fine on Win10. Good luck.
