Eggstor -> [FIXED v1.11 SR3] Fuel/attack issues and destroyed runway issue - v1.11/1.11SR1 (7/6/2016 10:01:04 PM)

There are several issues I found with fuel states and attack missions in Beware of the Badger starting with game version 1.11 (B825) continuing through B839. I'll try to limit the spoilers with generalities, but I make no guarantees: - The Bingo fuel calculatior appears to use the location where an aircraft launched from, not where that aircraft's home base/ship is at a given time. I noticed this when I received notifications that Soviet helicopters were splashed when I had not splashed them. I found a workaround that works for at least aircraft on sea-control patrol missions; set the "Fuel State: Pre-Planned" to a Joker state (10% worked in tests). - That workaround does not work for aircraft on land-attack misssions; they will fly on until Bingo even with a Joker fuel state set. I tried that workaround after noticing significant fuel-starvation losses in the Soviet SEAD force. I didn't fully track down why some of the groups made it back to base with fuel to spare and others crashed way short, but I suspect it's because those that crashed short didn't expend their weapons and thus remained at low level. - The "fudge" of putting airborne aircraft partway to a target that otherwise is out of range no longer works. Aircraft based out of range of its assigned target will return to base even if they have enough fuel to do the strike. I do have a "workaround" test scenario I've been working on that also addresses a couple of other items I think are scenario-specific errors, but I don't think I'm up to the 10 posts required to attach that yet. Addendum - I also noticed that aircraft based at an airfield with no runway or taxiway can still take off even though they can't land.
