pjdegrieck -> Am I not seeing this? (7/7/2016 5:27:13 AM)

I've been looking around in game for something that tells me the amount of bogeys, vampires, etc that are currently detected. Is this hidden somewhere?

Thanks!

Don't think we have such a feature? Should we? Just curious to what extent it might be useful [8D]

It would be a cool feature, especially because in Command some planes fly in so close formation that it only looks like one plane is flying at you, when it is really 2 or 3

II check all bogeys for whether they are multiple or not. Just click on them and check the bogey number. I am not sure how useful the feature is. I can't imagine using it for anything tactical.

I think it would be useful, especially in larger scenarios. Instead of pausing, clicking on each, looking at each group, dragging a box around a group with the mouse so you can mark EACH one, with this you know if there any bogeys still out there. If it's an easy selectable option, why not? I have no idea how hard it is to program, but I think more than just a few would love to have it. Argue against the tactical aspect of it or not (which can be debated) it's a quality of life feature.

I am still not sure what it is supposed to tell you. Why does it matter how many units are detected? What are you going to do with that info? I am genuinely curious. I must be missing something.

Well, if this was the same feature that I have asked for before (and many others) - namely some kind of window listing contacts such that when you click on a listed contact in the window you get taken to it on the main screen - then this would be SUPER useful and make a huge difference, for me at least. In the larger scenarios where you're playing at a height to see everything it's very hard to keep track of all the contacts. Even if it worked so that when a contact was mentioned in the message log you could click on the entry there and the map would jump to the contact, that would be fantastically helpful. Preferable both though - a separate clickable contact list window and an active message log that clicks to contact. This would be virtually the same thing as is being asked for by the OP, no?

Now that is different and can see the use in it. That is not what these guys are asking for..."amount of bogeys, vampires, etc that are currently detected"
