AirGriff -> Win 10 issue (8/12/2016 12:42:30 PM)

Hi. I'm an old fan returning to the game. I now have a Windows 10 machine and just installed the game. I get a "Unable to find PW data" error message when trying to load. Any ideas?

Apparently this is a problem with the shortcut having a wrong path.

Dont have much time now so I will give you the Google link to the relevant threads^^

i think you just need to delete "/beta" from the end of the line in the "start in" section of your game shortcut

Thanks guys, but I still can't figure it out. I see the executable file and click on it straight from the folder but still the same message.

You must post some screenshots of what you have and what you are trying. There is not enough info for accurate advice.
If you aren't sure how to do a screenshot just say so and someone will explain.

This is not a windows 10 error...

It is an installation error.

If you search the forum, you will find that many people have had the problem across all platforms.

And as BB stated, you have not given us enough information to really help you.

my guess (you are not really giving enough detail) is you are trying to start the .exe file directly (in the beta folder)

if this is the case - create a shortcut to said .exe file and then do as advised in my post above
