A "What If" ROK & Japan took on DPRK whilst China/US/Russia sit on the sidelines

Not sure I agree with everything he suggests could/would happen ... but nobody can say for sure how these things would play out. Think he's right about Seoul's fate though!

Maybe the Scenario Editor needs to be fired up!

This article is deliberately under-noticing Russia's position of this scenario. Consider THAAD is also part of the feud.

There's a community scenario called "Korean Campaign 2018" we can play, with Russia but Japan in it.

Well leaving Russia out is a lot less far-fetched that leaving the US out. It's still an interesting scenario.

Agree. One thing about scenarios. Even the most plausible scenario might not be fun or interesting to play. While something more far fetched is a blast. Fire up the editor and see what shakes out. If you have fun with it others will probably enjoy it too.

The ASW turkey shoot itself would be entertaining.

70 obsolete submarines? 70?!

They must be tripping over themselves on a good day.

That number is mixed with particular amount of semi-submersible PT boats, not all are R-classes.
