Starting a new game. 1.08.08 Bitter End. Fog of War on. Playing as Axis.
Performing Recon missions will reveal hidden Soviet units. Recon missions on airbases do not
reveal the air groups present, unless I restart several times. Recon missions on other units
do not reveal unit type, unless on one of the rare successful attempts.
On turns after the first turn if Recon missions happen to be successful, no information
revealed again, but it will reveal hidden units.
I have attempted manual runs from 1 to all available recon units doing repeated attempts to
get any results. If the first one does not work, none do. I have attempted to let the AI
do recon runs, no detailed results.
I will try a different scenario for comparison.
Edit: I usually have enemy hexes on, fort levels on, and factory locations on - which seems to
cause me to lose detection levels. Is this expected?
Edit 2: It appears it is the factory location ON that takes away the detection levels. Is this
as designed?
