test pc used, with a fresh install of the latest windows 10 version, Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393) (14393.rs1_release_inmarket.161004-2338) which is the latest Anniversary Edition version (RTM) full release, not a insider preview build, which aren't RTM [image]local://upfiles/43185/E2368ED6B1FF4D1487214C0858F37815.jpg[/image] files needed are shown, as you can see, there in parts and will be installed as per guide, all with version numbers that can now be downloaded here, this is a site installation test, not steam, that's been done...

4 [image]local://upfiles/43185/AA917952DAD14F4D97352E123D1E9F8E.jpg[/image] installing as admin and running as default, eg installing to the default location doesn't give any error's on install or on updating / patching or adding later DLC's, none default locations in windows 10 can http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3971226 as per advice above, while it can be done and got around, the default works right out of the box so is imo the best way so will be shown this way.

6 [image]local://upfiles/43185/9E16AEAA56AF492BA590F9CC25A489B0.jpg[/image] if your wondering why a clean install of windows 10 has program pre installed, it's because i made the image, which has some tools loaded in the image, it has no games, no other files, just a odd program which is use, standard windows AV plus firewall, but a passive spyware scanner and some other tools pre loaded...

On steam it has always just worked. Have had win10 for over a year.

Hi I followed the steps and there was no resolution to the crashing in Win 10 issue. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks

yes, try this one and see if that works for you, a clean start up is recommended also, so less apps and programs running in the background http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3876271

I bought this as well as all the DLC this morning and should have checked before assuming it would run on Windows 10. I've uninstalled and re-installed and followed all the steps and it just crashes to desktop when loading the tutorial or any scenario. I've only tried installing Waterloo so far as I figure if Waterloo won't run the DLC won't either. I've tried in Windows 8 and 7 compatibility mode...it get to Loading Battle Events, then exits to the desktop. I'm wondering if I just purchased $34 of unusable software.
