US87891 -> DEI and Senshi Sosho (10/14/2016 10:19:07 PM)

Mo Osterhaut just got John's paper copy of the translated Senshi Sosho volume for the Dutch East Indies. There is handwriting on the wall and it says I will likely be overseeing updated versions of the DEI and Guadalcanal scenarios for the next two to three months. That is not bad work for a retired Professor of Military Art and Science.[;)]

This latest makes 13 volumes, either fully translated or abridgements, that we know of. Most are in English, but one is in French and five are in Russian (good old GRU, Moscow). The Dutch are currently working on two more. The referenced volume is open access from Lieden University and the Cort Foundation, for those who enjoy a bit of light reading.

Matt

Great stuff!

Downloaded the PDF, however, each time I view the PDF in Adobe Reader the document hangs up after browsing a few pages.
