The problem with the SSD is two fold. One, it is solid state and has limited writes to it. Second, 128gb is not much space. Many programs, like this one, want to load to the C drive. This laptop is designed that exe files (the install) go on the C and everything else on the D. The ssd is fixed space. You cannot repartition to provide more. When it fills up, which is often, you are stuck until you move stuff to the D or delete apps and programs. In my opinion, the advantage that the SSD never degrades like a spinning disk is more than offset by the restrictions on space and use. A dual drive (two spinners) would work better. And they can be repartitioned for space, ie, space on one can be made available on the other. With the SSD one cannot do that. BTW, the 16gbvram came with the machine.
