Ken7 -> COST (10/26/2016 5:37:47 PM)

Hi everyone. I will definitely be purchasing this game. I am just wondering what the price will be? Anyone have any idea?

kirk23 -> RE: COST (11/13/2016 5:14:19 AM)

Yes I would like to know how much the game will cost as well?[;)]

Ken7 -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 1:55:24 PM)

Now I know why it wasn't posted.. $114. with shipping.... geez...

IainMcNeil -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 2:06:10 PM)

Where are you based? The Physical version is only $54.99, digital $39.99. Shipping to Europe is expensive and costs around $30+.

We will be adding the game to Amazon in UK and US next week which offers low or free shipping depending on your location. We've been struggling to find better shipping options but nobody seems to offer us anything better sadly. We're trying to get a European warehouse opened again to reduce costs but we cant compete with Amazon on this so we supply them direct so you can do that if you prefer.

We're just waiting for the stock to arrive at Amazon. It only just arrived at our warehouse, it has to be integrated, manufactured with disks and shipped off to Amazon. We'll see if we can get pre-orders set up so you can order now.

IainMcNeil -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 2:07:55 PM)

Here is the Amazon UK page
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N74LW02

You can currently add to list but not buy.

Ken7 -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 3:00:24 PM)

I am in Ontario, Canada. The Boxed game is $78.99 The shipping is $35.48 Total $114.87

IslandInland -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 3:28:32 PM)

Shipping is £29.70 to the UK making a grand total of £76.69. That's ridiculous.

I remember the debacle with DC:Barbarossa. The physical edition was a month late being delivered so in total I waited nearly two months as the delivery time was a month. I think I have learned my lesson and will get the digital download only. Amazon is a possibility but I do not have the patience to wait.

elmo3 -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 4:23:13 PM)

Well $39.99 for the digital version is a great price. Honestly was expecting it to be higher.

chemkid -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 4:32:00 PM)

.

IainMcNeil -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 4:33:19 PM)

With Barbarossa we didn't have the stock at launch and it got stuck at Customs and embroiled in the holiday deliveries. We already have books for Strategic Command. We'll be shipping them to Amazon next week so it wont be long before they're available.

We've looked at all sorts of options for delivery but currently there is no way to ship them from the US cheaper, which is why we;re trying to get a European warehouse opened again.

BPINisBACK -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 4:59:45 PM)

I got it!!!
I'm so happy!!!
I also think that is quite cheap!

IslandInland -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 5:04:27 PM)

I agree about the price of the digital version. It's a pleasant surprise.

I expected it to be more than £34.99 but I'm glad it isn't. Had it been priced in the same tier as WITW, WITE or WITP:AE I doubt I would have bought it.

IainMcNeil -> RE: COST (11/17/2016 5:07:52 PM)

It would have been less if the exchange rate hadn't dived in the last few months! $40 used to mean less than £30. Not any more!

Tell me about it. I mostly buy in dollars online and Brexit has been disastrous as far as the exchange rate goes. [:@]

Thanks for the game. Great price.(freight on manual little high, but will deal with it)
Have inventory at work going on now for the next couple of days, but can't wait to dig into this as my reward after we get done sometime Saturday and enjoying it with a nice bottle of Scotch.

Cheers, and V for Victory.

I am also in Ontario, no way I am paying double the cost of the Digital version. And wait we Canadians will be dinged another $20 to $40.00 in custom border fees (though no fault of Matrix here). So all and all the game may end up costing us Canadians over $150.00. Would have thought that you Matrix would have learned a lesson from "the World in Flames" cost way back when that came out.

Plus I find as many other Canucks have pointed out here that the exchange rate is always much higher here than on Steam.. Guess will wait until Steam has the game in their store.

Hey Grim,

I read your other post so should expound on my question above.

Why is shipping in the US $20?

Gotcha...thought you were asking for the cost.....interested in the answer myself, but too late for me, bought the download only version even though would have preferred the manual.

Dorb -> RE: COST (11/18/2016 12:22:27 AM)

Pretty much makes the game $75 in the good ol USA if you are old school and must have the hard copy and game disk.
Keeping with the spirit of the game... "Never was so much owed by so many to so few" [:D]
Just kidding, it is what it is, this is a hobby and hobbies are for disposable income.(well usually, for some it is right there with food, shelter and clothing - lol)

Cheers and game on brothers.
