Seems the mousewheel zoom is not taking resolution into account?

When I zoom in, it's like zooming occurs based on a fixed point at the top left quadrant of the screen, rather than the middle (or the mouse pointer). See the image (scaled down 4 times), with London in the top left.

How to get a DxDiag report file:

1. Click on "START" (on Windows 8 press “Windows key” and the “R” key at the same time)
2. Click "run" (skip this step on Windows 8 )
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments (zip) rather than pasted into the body of the post.

and or a error log from the game

Apologies, I'd thought this would a straight-forward thing so wouldn't need a DXDiag, but I should have included it anyway. Attached! :)

no apologies needed, but life is never simple, for me it maybe the resolution used, Current Mode: 2560 x 1440

but need to see if the developer can replicate it, and from looking at the log seems to be not the only game with an issue ShadowWarrior2

and some apps / programs NuiSpeechRecognitionCollection

I'm not sure what that is. Windows 10 Cortana maybe? I have Voice Attack installed as well.

have passed on the information about screen res, so the developer can take a look and offer a suggestion, i'm also not sure of the SpeechRecognition either, but only mentioned it as it was in the log

Thanks, appreciate it :)

zakblood -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (11/21/2016 9:19:32 AM)

your welcome, and hope they have some information for you soon

profanicus -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (12/17/2016 8:01:18 AM)

I never received any further word on this. Still waiting for some resolution so I can start playing the game.

Is it worth putting a support ticket in?

zakblood -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (12/17/2016 8:28:26 AM)

yes as no one else has replied here

zakblood -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (12/17/2016 8:29:39 AM)

Windowed mode was being talked of, as that would help, or support for higher dpi settings and res like yours

profanicus -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (12/17/2016 9:54:44 AM)

Cheers. I'm not sure it will make a difference, as I've done further tests by lowering my desktop resolution to 1080p and to 720p, and I get the same zoom behaviour in each instance.

n0kn0k -> RE: Zooming problem at 2560x1440 (12/17/2016 10:06:56 AM)

I actually see the same behaviour here at 2560x1440.
When you zoom in from the middle zoomlevel towards all the way zoomed in it will keep the upperleft hex as the anchor for the starting position of the screenrender.
Tbh I never even noticed it since I always play at the middle zoom level.
Much better of an overview that way.

Playing 2560x1440 as well, same zoom behavior, but frankly never bothered me.

This should now be fixed on my end as well for the next update.
