Let’s remember Pearl Harbor 75th anniversary. How about stock scenario 2 or 8 (Hakko Ichiu) and I’ll play either side? Then try and reach 1944 or beyond (Yes, I know that’s not reality). Historical First Turn is Off. Rest of Realism Options and Game Options to be determined, preferably historical where appropriate. Any takers?

Interested in giving it a go as the Allied Player. Have not done a PBM in several years. Would like something with boundary conditions withing historical possibilities. What version of the game are you using? Will need to reinstall everything, and patch up.

What boundary conditions are you thinking of? I’ve been offline quite a while myself.

I’ve got version 1.7.11.24 pasted on my Main Menu Screen. I think that’s fully updated

No strategic bombing before say 6/43 or no naval bombing by heavy bombers below 10K feet. No invasions with subs. Keeping units inside national boarders unless PPs paid (restricted HQs), that sort of thing. Probably also should ban deliberate use of AKs in one ship task forces as picket ships. There is a post somewhere with good house rules.

I'll check my version tonight.

SSTs are explicitly designed to carry troops and land them. Hardly an "invasion", but useful to the Allies. No reason to HR them away.

How many bases taken with sub invasion?

I'm not sure of your question.

If you want to discuss SSTs you should open a thread in the War Room or the main forum. This thread has been closed.

Nothing to discuss since no one base dont taken and player dont need this trick in PBEM.
