I have had this game for a while, I looked for a post on a beginner player assistance. Could someone direct me for a good tip section.

I would recommend to just follow the tutorial manual, and win the tutorial game. After that, try to modify the battle plan of tutorial manual, and retry the tutorial, and win again. After build up some confidence, try small size games against AI. This is what I did when I was a noob

There are a number of topics in the War Room sub forum that can help out with a wide range of game related items. Going through the Quick Start and Tutorial is a good first step.

To better help folks with the next game, what things in particular could we do and talk about to help you understand both the game mechanics and the battlefield environment? We plan on adding a Battlefield Primer manual to Southern Storm to capture these types of items.
