I read about it a long time ago but don't remember the answer.
The CV Saratoga is due in 3 days in Nouméa.
But if i use the "List all Naval Air Unit" screen, i already see all its four air groups, and the option "transfer to base" is not greyed out for them and works OK.
The CV Saratoga doesn't appear on the "List all Active Ship" screen.
In Nouméa, if i select one airgroup and browse with the "Next Group" arrow, i can see the VF-2 (and only this fighter airgroup, not the bomber) on the Saratoga even if it is not in Nouméa, and i can't browse back. Same if i select the list of pilots for a airgroup in Nouméa and click the "next group" arrow.
If the CV was due the next day, i will not complain about the possibility of air transfer, 3 days of travel distance seems a little bit too much.
