As the Allies, I throw all the early diplomacy against Greece, including what I can from Poland and France before they fall. I reinforce Greece heavily with Brits and then the Axis stack nearly everything they have against it. It is actually comical but also a flaw, way too many Germans and Italians are distracted by my small holding force. Although, in more than one game I have withdrawn before losing too much.
