On the Don Front, the Soviets also reorganized their lines, although they did not retreat.

On the Finnish Front, only the 2nd Siberians were now left in Finland itself (other than the trapped Zhukov HQ and a division).
The problem for this group was that it was virtually isolated from the rest of the USSR, and the Leningrad factories could not get any resources. Unfortunately I didn't have quite enough forces to break this line.

The overall view of the Eastern Front at the end of the Allies' third impulse in Sep/Oct 1941.
I was extremely hopeful of another impulse in the clear weather, given I had none so far since the Jul/Aug turn.
But of course it was after the end of the Allies' third impulse that the turn ended!!?!
Goddamnit.

Losses for the apallingly short Sep/Oct 1941 turn.
The Soviets also lost a CONV of course, being their only loss and not suffering any attacks, their production multiple was reduced by .25, so by not attacking, the Germans actually reduced the USSR production!
Of course the Commonwealth production was also reduced, not because of the lack of attacks, but the huge gap in the convoy chain, with ten CONV points missing in the North Atlantic. It was a disastrous turn for the British with the loss of Malta and the units there.
I'm not sure why the Kunming warlord unit appears in the losses, I think it was a vagary of the conquest phase (which occurs after the 'scrap units' phase, so any losses from the return to base phase or the conquest phase carry over through to the next turn), and of course China surrendered at the end of the previous turn, so the Kunming Warlord was transferred to Japan, not actually destroyed.

Reinforcements for Nov/Dec 1941:
The Germans are looking forward to the return of Mannerheim as well as the arrival of the Finnish MECH corps.
The Italians scrapped the Reggiane Re.2000 'Falco' planes destroyed last turn, and incredibly neatly the improved Re.2001 'Falco II's arrive right on time.
The other big question is what are the Germans going to do with those new paras, now that Malta has fallen? I'm sure I can come up with something!
You'll also note that after using their Offensive Chit to defeat China earlier, Japan decided to build another one. Which is now arriving. Excellent...
