So following my question about bombing Leningrad ports on a previous post Ive run into something interesting. I am able to bomb some ports twice then the aircraft are "out of range"... But then I can just bomb another port even farther or right next to it. Can't find anything in the manual and the search function on this forums stinks.

You can bomb ports twice but not with the same airgroup , and btw it is useles to bomb ports, unless you want to complete the damage done to the ports by adiacent ground units.

I used this tactic to isolate Odessa and take the city by romanian troops only .

Seems like there is some conflicting info. Some say Bombing Leningrad ports helps isolate the city, some say it doesn't. Not sure which is better. I guess i'll find out.

Thank you for that, yes I have been using my Army Group Norths Air Force to bomb the ports, only twice allowed :(

You should be able to use the same air group but each hex can be only bombed twice per turn.

Ah.. So commit everything since its only 2 bombing runs allowed! Seems like maybe they aren't worth it.
